"Living By Faith...With The Faithful God"

Before stepping out by faith to start a church, the Lord had my family and me serving Him at the Shenandoah Boys Ranch Academy in Cleveland, TN.  We had the blessing of working with troubled teenagers who needed desperate help.  There are so many teens in America that are in need of a home like this to help them.  On an average week, anywhere from four to seven phone calls come in requesting help with there teenager.  It is to the glory of God that there are homes like this that give hope to the hopeless.






Shenandoah Boys Ranch and Shenandoah Haven for girls are ministries out of the Shenandoah Baptist Church in Cleveland, TN.  They take in teenagers who have allowed the devil to get a hold of their life.  Many teens come that are uncontrollably angry, very bitter, on drugs, in trouble with the law, stuck in depression, involved in inmmorality, and in many other sins.  Parents that have come to the place of "nothing else I can do" send their teens to the homes.  

The Ranch and Haven are a controlled environment where every philosophy comes right from the Word of God.  There is only one hope for the lost teen or the backslidden teen, Jesus Christ.  Without Christ all is lost.  A reform school cannot do it.  Christ did not come to reform self, but to replace self.  You cannot reform the flesh or dedicate the flesh to change.  Only by getting Born Again can anyone have any hope.   Christ said in II Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."  It is only the new man in Christ that can change a teenager, and I praise the Lord for how He can take the broken and put everything back together again.
